a pocket full of sunshine is what i really need
winter looms upon the horizon with all it's dusky softness and chilly breezes
a yearn for solitude and peace
a pocket full of sunshine is what i really need
over the meadows and through the woods i went... searching for a treasure — searching for the world
alone i was accosted by the sounds within my head
a pocket full of sunshine is what i really need
you cannot hear the warning, you do not know the hour of winter's icy blasts
to reach into my pocket, you will not find a nickel or a piece of gum, but seeds strung on a chain with Our Lord hanging there...
there are times when i could easily just find comfort elsewhere
but it's here He has called me and here i should be
peace + blessings,
