Journey of Quilting

the middle...

the challenge isn't for anyone else but you... not to blog about it, not to tell your friends, but doing something that it just for you... and if you aren't coming up with any pictures, then don't fret... I'll explain it all tomorrow evening...
with that said, I would like to introduce the rest of my 'craft hutch'

I took out all my silver — shined them up (not completely though:)... and used all of it for stashing trims, bobbins, tags, string... and this hutch also gave me a place to admire some of my other things... like these Saint Anne statues which grace a French hemp towel with blue striping and my dried lavender...

that statue above, has a really cool story: (i know, you aren't surprised)... when I was antique shopping at my mother in law's shop, I NEVER look in display cases... but happened to this day (I'm more of a hands on type of shopper)... and I did a b-line for this statue... her dress was beautiful... but there was something more... I asked my "minlaw" to get it out so I could take a look at it closer... on the underside of her it says "Hungary" — it is a statue of Our Lady of Hungary!!... what are the chances really?

A few of my most favorite books also are showcased and admired... as well as more silver...

i really like how the silver shines in the sun...

my little writing center...

and more pheasant feathers I recently acquired, that soften my flower frog collection which I have some of my favorite holy cards...

The overall look I'll post on Saturday...
It has been so great creating "Elizabeth" in my new space, and it really has inspired me being able to view my inspirations, and so handy...
~have a beautiful day~
