"One, Two, Buckle my Shoe", Block A-2
This block was alot of work! It wasn't too dificult but lots of little pieces demand a lot of attention. I paper-pieced this block as well; the results are just so precise.
With blocks as small as these and with pieces even smaller, I can't help but wonder how Jane did it. She didn't have a rotary cutter, a ruler that can measure countless angles, plastic templates, all the tools us modern day quilters have. How did she do it? When I think about these things, I am even more amazed by Jane's quilt.
