So... yesterday, I made these really easy and cool looking 'cookie baskets' for the kids too... I know... I've been in kitchen for 2 days... BUT I LIKE IT IN THERE;) and uh... just to let you know... it has been extremely hard to be around all this candy and cookies and not eat them (Lenten penance — lol)
Here's what you have to do — totally easy: make your favorite sugar cookie dough, and then let it chill for about an hour, then take about 2 T. and roll into a ball in your hands... put in greased muffin pans... push down and then carefully push up on the sides to make the basket... cook on 375* for 8-10 minutes (I use Convection ovens at 375* for 6 min.) You will know when they are done when they are just ever so slightly browned...

now here's the fun part... you can tint coconut green and put inside and then put your all natural jelly beans (yes — they sell them) or pipe green frosting like grass (how cute would that be?) and then a few jelly beans or favorite candy.
I was going to use paper for the 'handles' but then stumbled across my grapevine wreath that not only is flexible but free:) and looks cute!
(p.s. the leftover cookie dough I cut out these cute chickies and sprinkled them pink)

On to the next one... and you are really going to like the next one... peanut butter... chocolate... oh yeah...
