Journey of Quilting

Monday Morning Fashion...

While I was tending to the gardens, I needed a rest, so I sat down in our new little "secret garden" (a name the children came up with), and daughter went to retrieve the mail, and came back with this!

Only to open it further and see this:

Just as the "Farm Chick" club was being started I had a giveaway (a market bag made out of an old grain sack with the winner's name embroidered on it)... well, Lilly Sue won, and as a 'thank you' she told me that she was making me a piece of her jewelry... just for moi !

she sent me an email to choose what "theme" of jewelery... I had many options, one including a mermaid... she had them labeled A,B,C, etc... well, I chose the mermaid one (ha!) and she emailed me asking me if I was sure... that was surprising! TO ME TOO! OH NO! I said, I meant the FARM THEME!!

too funny

~the whole packaging was darling~

She and her daughter even made bracelets for the girls... too cute!

They absolutely loved them, and so did I.

even the cute hair ribbon was quickly put into Kateri's hair...

Back to me... being the camera is always on me, I was able to keep clicking away to capture all my excitement...

Here it is! Silver charms adorned with glass beads and a beautiful clasp... a little truck, rooster, a bunch of asparagus tied in a bow, coffee cup and saucer, a heart, and a simple hope charm created so nicely with my favorite color: blue. Made especially for me, and very well made I must say.

I have never owned a charm bracelet before... all of this was so wonderful... Being that I DID have blue on, both on top and my denim skirt, it was absolutely perfect.

A BIG thank you from one Farm chick to another. I love it.
